BLOG 2 !

HELLOOOOO!!!!!! IM BACK

I hate drawing, any kind of drawing. Was never good at it nor could I excel in it but last week I had to draw a milk carton in one-point view and a book in two-point view. I had to redraw the milk carton many times and I am still currently trying to better my milk carton because it looks very odd to me however in contrast I enjoyed drawing the book not only was it easy but it was also very intriguing because for the first time I looked at my drawing and was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out . Using a 30cm ruler for the guide lines made everything so much more easier . loooook at themmm

MOVING ON,

I was also introduced to the application Fusion360. I did try it out before the lesson during one of my CCA activities but still, I was very confused on how to navigate the app since the application's functions are slightly more different on a MacBook. I did manage to make a keychain while following the instructions given on bright space.I felt so accomplished when I completed it because it took a good hour and half trying to figure out the different functions and its uses , (remember that to zoom in you NEED to move up and down NOT sideways).I had to use 2 point view function for the body of keychain too.

I'm keen on 3D printing my sketches in the future but for now I think I have yet to sharpen my skills on Fusion360 and gain some confidence in the way I work with app. ( I have a screenshot below my computer keeps crashing when I try to save the file after extruding :( )

My group is also tasked to make a handphone stand and for now we have only split the components we each are going to make. I am supposed to make component 1 which acts as the base for the stand. We will be doing it together the next week so I'll share it once we are done.Along with that we managed to complete until part 4 of CA1. SCAMPER needed a LOT of brain-storming, at some point we were going off topic with our ideas and it was super hilarious hearing how everyone forms very different thoughts within a common topic HAHAA.

FINALLY,

This week I learnt not to be afraid of using tech-apps that are unheard of. For instance, Fusion360 it was definitely very intimidating as a beginner but the more i played around with it during my free time, the more interesting and cool it became.My senior told me he bought his own mini 3D printer and prints his own mini things at home and I find that so cute, hopefully ill be that good in my Fusion360 skills by then.For CA1 I am trying to incorporate SCAMPER into my daily solutions and ideas as it allows me to broaden my thought process as I go through the different letters.
